Pioneer Service Honored with SPARK Community Outreach Award
On March 15, the Valley Industrial Association (VIA) hosted their 2018 Spark Awards, where Pioneer Service was honored with their Community Outreach Award.
We at Pioneer humbly thank VIA for their commemorative video highlighting the company-wide effort to break barriers for students of manufacturing. Accepting this award on our behalf was our own Aneesa Muthana, who spoke on the critical role manufacturing leaders play in developing young talent. “It’s not about men versus women or veterans against millennials,” said Aneesa. “We must team up to strengthen this industry.”
Manufacturing never takes a day off. At Pioneer, we open up our doors for kids and students, both inside of the company and out. Though “opening doors” means literally inviting students into our facilities, it also means engaging with government officials and participating in educational events. Each is an opportunity to break boundaries for students and bolster the industry’s tomorrow, when manufacturing can continue to play a large role in a prosperous U.S. economy.
Headquartered in Geneva, Illinois, the VIA acts as a regional trade association for local manufacturing businesses. Founded in 1902, the non-profit organization provides networking, guidance, and leadership development to more than 220 members. For more information, please visit their website.
